Thank you so much for joining our jurors to pass judgement over the Countess Elizabeth Bathory. Here is some guidance we can provide to ensure you are best prepared to make your choice: 

 

LOCATION

Epworth United Methodist Church (5253 N Kenmore Ave, Chicago, IL 60640) (Google Maps)

 

TIME

Please arrive by 7:50PM. Doors are closed and the show begins @ 8PM. Due to the immersive nature of this show, no late-entry is permitted.

 

RUN TIME

1 hour and 15 minutes, no intermission.

 

TRAVEL

Allow extra time for travel & parking. Chicago traffic is inconsistent — accustomed-to travel times are often extended by construction, weather and sporting events.

 

PARKING

  • Metered Parking on both Broadway Street and Berwyn Avenue operate Monday - Saturday. For more information, visit chicagometers.com.

  • Free, un-zoned Street Parking is available on the side streets surrounding Epworth United Methodist. Parking is usually particularly plentiful to the west of Broadway. Please do not park in the Jewel parking lot.

  • Previous patrons can attest that while street parking is available, it is crucial to leave enough time to find a space and get to the church by 7:50PM, as late entry will not be possible. 

ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION

  • CTA: Buses #146, #92, and #36 stop nearby, and the Red Line Berwyn stop is a half-block away. For routes and modes, visit www.transitchicago.com

  • BIKING: Feel like biking? Lock up your bike near the church, and we are happy to hold onto your helmet and bags during the performance.

  • DIVVY: There are also Divvy bike stands nearby please visit www.divvybikes.com for more information.

FOOD & DRINK

NO outside food or beverage is permitted. Alcohol on church grounds is strictly prohibited.

 

SUGGESTED DINING

  • Chicago Grind: coffee, tea, pastries, light sandwiches, salads, etc.

  • Burke’s Public House: full dinner and drink service; casual

  • Pearl’s Southern Comfort: southern fare with craft beer and cocktails
